‘A chat with the king!’ Rashford cannot hide delight at meeting Ronaldinho

Date Posted,June 27, 2017

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has met up with Ronaldinho and could not resist having a photograph with the Brazilian legend who he described as the ‘king’.

The talented forward is enjoying a well earned rest following a superb season for Jose Mourinho’s side and has bumped into one of the greatest ever players on his travels.

Rashford has been on holiday in Miami with United team-mate Jesse Lingard who also posted a pictured with the former Barcelona star on Saturday.

The England forward was not going to miss out on the action and jumped at the chance to have his own photograph with Ronaldinho.

It remains to be seen who was more star-struck as Ronaldinho quickly uploaded the image to his Instagram account and revealed his admiration for the young star.

Ronaldinho said: ”Marcus Rashford has a lot of football, besides being a humble young man and a good person.’

Rashford was also thrilled to meet up with the former Ballon d’Or winner and tweeted: ‘Nice to sit down and chat with the king’

Rashford earned comparisons with Ronaldinho last year from former Manchester United player Quinton Fortune who said the United striker played like the Brazilian star in training as a 13-year-old.

The young star has an even bigger season ahead of him after scoring 11 goals last year and will relish the chance to showcase his talents in the Champions League next season.
