Alli drops strong hint he’ll stay at Spurs despite Real Madrid and Man City interest

Dele Alli has given a strong indication he will still be a Tottenham player next season and hopes to win major silverware with the north London club.

Alli has been strongly linked with big money moves to Real Madrid and Manchester City following a superb season in the top flight.

The Tottenham midfielder has been one of the star performers for Mauricio Pochettino’s side scoring 22 goals.

Alli’s performances have not gone unnoticed and he was named PFA Young Player of the Year while many professionals in the game felt he was unlucky not to be selected for the main category of Player of the Year.

The 21-year-old stated last week that he wants to keep improving under Pochettino, but refused to rule out a big money move in the future.

However, following Tottenham’s impressive 7-1 win over Hull on Sunday, Alli took to his Twitter side to give a big hint of where he will be playing his football next season as he celebrated the victory alongside his team-mates in the dressing room.

Alli said: ‘Couldn’t wish for a better group of lads to have played the season with! Thanks to the fans! Let’s make next season even better’.

Alli will now prepare for a big World Cup Qualifier against Scotland at the start of June before England face France in a friendly a few days later.
