Tiemoue Bakayoko has been responding to Chelsea fans wishing him ‘good luck’ on social media by liking their tweets.

The 22-year-old arrived at the club’s Cobham training ground on Friday ahead of a medical and £40million transfer.

A move to the Premier League champions is imminent after Antonio Conte beat Jose Mourinho to the signing of the Monaco man.

Even Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi got in on the act, using emojis to ask the Frenchman whether he has signed his new deal with the club.

Bakayoko posted snaps of Chelsea’s training ground in Surray to his Instagram story after arriving on Friday morning.

He captioned the image “soon”, suggesting the deal just needs confirming now.
