Barca star Rakitic calls United loanee Pereira a ‘son of a b****’ during Granada clash

Ivan Rakitic was caught calling Manchester United loanee Andreas Pereira a ‘son of a b****’ during Barcelona’s clash with Granada.

Barca won the La Liga encounter 4-1 to keep pace with Real Madrid at the top of the table.

But tensions spilled over late on after a collision between Rakitic and Pereira , which saw the Croat booked.

TV cameras caught Rakitic dishing out some offensive language to the United loanee – appearing to shout: ‘Down you go to the second division you son of a b****’.

Granada are currently 19th in the table, eight points adrift of safety.

But even if they are relegated, Pereira is unlikely to stick around.

The 21-year-old has scored four times for Granada this term and hopes to be back at Old Trafford next season.

“It’s nice that the people at United trust me and I always feel that they are watching. For me, that’s very important,” Pereira said.

“I don’t feel like you’re left alone when you go on loan, and it feels good. I still feel part of it. I’m doing my thing here but I’m still a United player and that’s the end of the story.”
