The above video, which was captured at the club’s Cobham training ground on Wednesday, briefly showed the Belgian sporting the strap around his right knee.
And understandably, Blues fans have been concerned for his welfare as their side prepares for a very important fixture at Wembley this weekend.
Missing players cost Chelsea in their Premier League defeat to Man United, when Thibaut Courtois and Marcos Alonso were ruled out on the day.
Some took to Twitter to voice concern following the emergence of the Hazard image, with one supporter admitting he was “worried for Saturday”.
Others responded in the comments section of the video on YouTube, with one saying: “Hazard injured? He was wearing bandage.”
And a third writing: “Hazard is the one per cent chance we have of beating Spurs, Terry should start too, at least we’d go out led by a proper captain.”
However, it seems Chelsea fans have nothing to worry about as Hazard was not ruled out of the game by Antonio Conte, who spoke to the press on Friday.
It is not clear why Hazard was wearing the bandage, but it would seem the 26-year-old is set to start on Saturday, much to the dismay of the Tottenham fans.
