Date Posted,August 16, 2017

Eden Hazard stepped up his return from injury by scoring in a secret friendly organised by Chelsea against a Queens Park Rangers development side at the Cobham training ground.

The Belgian has been out since June with an ankle injury with Antonio Conte desperate for his talisman to return after a rocky start to the season in the 3-2 defeat to Burnley.

Sunday’s London derby against Tottenham is still unlikely, but Hazard looks set to play some part in the home fixture against Everton on August 27.

Tiemoue Bakayoko, signed for £40m from Monaco this summer, is also close a first team return and also registered.

Charly Musonda grabbed a double and looks set to feature from the start against Spurs if Pedro fails to recover from injury.

The Belgian youngster will compete with Jeremie Boga to play alongside Willian behind Alvaro Morata or Michy Batshuayi.
