City fans are FUMING after Otamendi wipes out Gabriel Jesus during friendly

Date Posted,June 8, 2017

Manchester City fans are understandably frustrated with Nicolas Otamendi after he apparently injured Gabriel Jesus.

The Argentina defender was in action for his nation in their 1-0 friendly win over Brazil in Melbourne, Australia.

He collided with his Man City teammate Jesus in the dying embers of the game, leaving him in a heap on the ground.

Replays showed Otamendi caught the forward with an elbow as he jumped for a header, and Jesus required on-pitch treatment from the medical staff.

The Brazilian was then taken off on a stretcher, although it seems just as a precautionary measure given the game’s lack of importance.

The elbow looked to be accidental, as the Argentine was simply using his arms for leverage when he connected with the Brazilian.

And they were quick to take to Twitter to voice their annoyance…
