Antonio Conte has called for the final three matches of the title race to be played simultaneously to avoid giving an advantage to either side.
Chelsea play at Everton on Sunday afternoon before Tottenham host Arsenal in the North London derby.
The Blues have a four-point lead with five games to go and can put more pressure on their title rivals by winning first. And they will only play at the same time on the final day.
Conte claimed it is not an advantage for his side now but added: “For sure, at the end of the season, I think that when you have two teams in the race, in contention for the title, I think you must have a good balance to try to put the fixtures in the same hour, on the same days, and don’t give advantage to one team or another.
“When you arrive at the last three games, when you see there are two or three teams very close to fight for the title, you have to find a solution not to give advantage for one team or another. Try and keep it the same hour, the same days to rest.”
From a 13-point lead in March, Tottenham have closed the gap with eight consecutive Premier League wins.
“I think that, in this league, two teams are having a great season,” Conte added. “Yes, I think this because Chelsea are having a great season, but also Tottenham. A great season.
“Two good teams, two teams who are showing we deserve to fight for the title until the end. For sure, you must enjoy this type of situation.
“After a lot of work, it’s important to arrive at the end of the season fighting for something important. For us, it’s a great achievement to fight for the title and the FA Cup final, because we are in the final.
“But also we must praise Tottenham because they are playing very well and having a great season in the same way like Chelsea.”
A point at Goodison Park – where Everton have won their last eight Premier League games – will guarantee Chelsea a return to the Champions League. Will Conte get a bonus for that?

Antonio Conte speaks after win over Southampton
“No, no,” the Italian laughed. “Only if we win.”But Conte added: “I think, in this league, when your team is able to reach this target, I think it’s a good achievement.
“Don’t forget, only four teams can play in the next Champions League. Obviously, with six teams between Chelsea, Tottenham, City, Arsenal, United, Liverpool, two strong teams won’t play next season in the Champions League.”
