Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is staying at Borussia Dortmund, according to the club anyway.
Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly set to complete a £61million move for the Gabon forward but the German club has other ideas.
A contract worth £168,000 a week is said to have been lined up for Bundesliga golden boot winner to join the likes of Angel di Maria and Edinson Cavani.
Dortmund is digging in their heels, though.
“As of now, we have not received any offers from any club across the world,” Michael Zorc, the club’s sporting director, told Ruhr Nachrichten .
Aubameyang, 27, was on fire in 2016-17 for Dortmund, with 31 goals in 32 league appearances.
PSG made Aubameyang their main summer target when they became resigned to the fact that they’re at the back of the queue for Alexis Sanchez
“If I want to go to the next level, I need to leave in summer,” Aubameyang told Radio RMC back on January 31, making clear his desire to move to Real Madrid. “Paris is also an attraction” said the ex-Saint Etienne hitman.
On Wednesday, Yahoo France reported an agreement has been reached with the clubs, and with only the finer details of a £9million-a-year contract to be ironed out.
It was also reported in Germany on Tuesday that Aubameyang had cleared out his locker at BVB’s training ground on Tuesday.
