Gerrard shows off comedy acting skills alongside Liverpool stars in new advert

Date Posted,May 18, 2017

Liverpool’s Nivea adverts have become something of a tradition over the past few years, and the worst part for most football fans is that they’re actually quite good.

The first one was released back in 2015, which featured Jordan Henderson, Simon Mignolet and Raheem Sterling.

Since then, many more have been released – even one featuring boss Jurgen Klopp.

Now the latest installment is upon us, and it features a Nivea debut from Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.

Taking place after a hard fought victory, we join Nathaniel Clyne, Roberto Firmino and James Milner all entering the dressing room.

The trio then take us through the perfect post-match wash down, preparing them for their after game activities.

Clyne is advertising the shower gel, Milner is showing off the deodorant and Firmino is applying the creme.

On the way out, the Reds stars pass legend Gerrard, who says a quick hello.

Milner then enters his car ready to depart Anfield, feeling ‘prepared for anything’ after using Nivea.

But something happens that nobody could prepare for – a giant Godzilla foot stamping on Milner’s car and crushing him into the ground.

Peering over the edge of the crater-sized footprint with a cheeky grin on his face, Gerrard comically says, “You alright?”.
