The Reds striker was reported to have returned to full training this week but the German dismissed those rumours as nonsense.
With Liverpool desperate to return to the Premier League’s top four this season, news of Sturridge comes as a major blow to the Reds.
The England forward last started a game nine weeks ago – a League Cup exit at the hands of Southampton.
Ronaldo Koeman has guided Everton to eight wins from their last 12 league games, losing only one. Liverpool have only managed five wins from the same number of matches, losing three.
Speaking in his press conference on Friday, Klopp said: “No chance [on Sturridge playing]. I heard he was back to training but I don’t know who gave this information.
“He is working with the rehab coach. No chance this weekend.”
