Klopp: Even Barca and Real Madrid would struggle to win the Premier League

Date Posted,April 28, 2017

Even Barcelona and Real Madrid would find it ‘difficult’ to win the Premier League, according to Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds are third behind title-chasing Chelsea and Tottenham.

But with four games left to play this season, they face a real battle to finish inside the top four after last weekend’s surprise home defeat by Crystal Palace.

If both Manchester City and Manchester United beat struggling Middlesbrough and Swansea this Sunday, Liverpool will find themselves down in fifth when they take on Watford on Monday.

Klopp believes that would underline how tough the English top-flight is – and how even the European elite wouldn’t find it easy.
