Kolasinac names Arsenal academy graduate as the teenager he tips to achieve great things

Arsenal new boy Sead Kolasinac has named Reiss Nelson as the teenager he expects to go on and achieve great things at the club.

The Bosnian left-back, who is new to north London, has been impressed by what he has seen from the youngster in training.

And believes experienced players around Nelson, such as Mesut Ozil, could see him develop into a world class attacking midfielder in years to come.

Nelson was a stand-out star for the Gunners in pre-season, and earned a place in Arsene Wenger’s team in the Community Shield win over Chelsea.

Kolasinac, who is confident he can push on from here, told Arsenal Player: “You realise from his style of play that he’s really talented.

“He’s quick, a very strong dribbler and he has everything you need as an offensive player. He’s still young and has a lot to learn, also academically.

“It’s good for him to have more experienced players around who can take care of him, like Mesut, who plays in his position, or other players too. I’m very impressed by him.”

Arsenal kick-started their campaign with a win against Leicester City before they were beaten by Stoke City at the bet365 stadium. Next up for the Gunners is a tough trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool.
