Aaron Lennon has returned to pre-season training with his Everton teammates.
The former England winger was detained under the Mental Health Act in May.
Lennon, who moved to Goodison Park from Tottenham in 2015, was taken to hospital due to a stress-related illness.
He hasn’t played for the first team since February after struggling for opportunities under Ronald Koeman.
But Lennon was all smiles as he returned to Finch Farm on Monday.
The 30-year-old was put through his paces along with his teammates as Koeman’s squad got down to work.
Fitness and medical checks were carried out by the Toffees’ staff.
Injured duo Seamus Coleman and Yannick Bolasie were also present as they continue their recoveries from long-term setbacks.
It looks set to be a busy day for the club with a £25million deal for Michael Keane set to be finalised.
The England defender has undergone a medical with a five-year contract agreed.
Sandro Ramirez will also arrive from Malaga to take the club’s spending past the £90million mark.
