Lost in translation… until Liverpool boss Klopp comes to Simeone’s rescue!

Date Posted,August 1, 2017

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp came to Diego Simeone’s rescue on Tuesday evening when the Atletico Madrid manager encountered some translation issues.

The Argentine was speaking in a four-way press conference alongside Jurgen Klopp, Carlo Ancelotti and Maurizio Sarri following La Liga side’s 2-1 Audi Cup win over Napoli.

After falling 1-0 behind, Fernando Torres and Luciano Dario Vietto inspired a late comeback.

Following victory at the Allianz Arena, Simeone was asked a question by a reporter in German.

However, the 47-year-old’s earpiece failed to translate the journalist’s words into Spanish.

Pointing to his ear, Klopp immediately came over to help his managerial counterpart.

The Liverpool boss proceeded to fiddle around with the box, appearing to change the socket the 3.5mm jack was plugged into.

Klopp was clearly in a generous mood following Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Bayern Munich.

Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Daniel Sturridge all found the scoresheet in an emphatic win for the Reds.
