Date Posted,July 10, 2017

Romelu Lukaku has revealed he will wear the No.9 shirt at Manchester United.

The Belgian’s move to Old Trafford from Everton is expected to be confirmed imminently after the clubs agreed a £75million fee for the transfer.

Wayne Rooney has gone in the other direction and will wear No.10 at Everton, fuelling rumours the pair could be set for a straight swap.

But Lukaku will wear the No.9 jersey vacated by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The front man even admitted he asked the Swede’s permission to take his number.
