Madrid fans don’t forget their bitter enemy as they celebrate at Barcelona landmark

Date Posted,June 4, 2017

Real Madrid fans did their best to rub salt in Barcelona’s wounds on Saturday night by taking to a popular Catalan city attraction to celebrate their Champions League glory.

Around 20 Los Blancos supporters travelled to Font de Canaletes – a popular destination for Nou Camp fans following cup triumphs – to chant, wave their flags and jump around in excitement.

Zinedine Zidane’s men brushed aside Juventus 4-1 at the Principality Stadium on Saturday night, thanks to goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Casemiro and Marco Asensio.

Barcelona fans were celebrating at the Font de Canaletes just last week following their 3-1 Copa del Rey win over Alaves.

But it was Real Madrid fans who had the final say, celebrating in their rival’s town.
