Manchester United fans are disappointed to see Gareth Bale’s name in the Real Madrid teammate for their Super Cup clash on Tuesday night.
The Red Devils boss has been linked with a summer move for Bale, who has fallen out of favour at Real under Zinedine Zidane.
And Mourinho even claimed that he will know whether the former Spurs man is wanted by Los Blancos if he makes Zidane’s starting line-up in Skopje.
So it seems that at this point at least Mourinho’s mind games have backfired somewhat, with Zidane including the Welshman in his starting XI.
His presence in the team will come as a blow to the Portuguese, who was confident of enticing Bale back to the Premier League.
And it seems it’s not just Mourinho who is disappointed by his inclusion.
Manchester United fans have also picked up on Zidane’s decision to quash the Red Devils’ approaches – and they’re not particularly pleased.
