Man United fans are raging as club cools interest in main transfer target

Date Posted,June 12, 2017

Manchester United fans aren’t best pleased at the moment.

Sure the club is linked, and has been linked, with a number of superstars already this summer, and obviously they can’t sign all of them… that would just be ridiculous, think about it.

But still, that doesn’t mean to say they aren’t prepared to react angrily as and when the club decides to cool its interest in one possible transfer target.

Now it seems there are two things behind the frustration currently being felt by Manchester United supporters.

One, their activity has been a little hit and miss to this point. Sure, they have agreed a deal to sign the very talented Victor Lindelof, which is great.

But they’ve also seen Antoine Griezmann slip through the net, and while they are very much in the driving seat to sign Alvaro Morata, Real Madrid are digging their heels in over the price.

Another player said to be on the Old Trafford radar is Brazilian star Fabinho, who currently represents Monaco.

The prospect of the versatile youngster, who can play as a full back but also a defensive midfielder, whet the appetites of many a United fan.

Until, of course, the Red Devils ruled out a move for him this summer, as reported by the Manchester Evening News.

Queue lots of fans getting very angry about the news. It’s going to be a very long season, and it hasn’t even started yet…
