Alvaro Morata’s proposed move to Manchester United appears imminent.

But if the Spaniard’s recent social media activity is anything to go by the Red Devils will have a very productive transfer window.

According to reports from Spanish publication Donbalon, the 24-year-old is keen on Gareth Bale joining him at Old Trafford.

The paper reported that he even spoke to his Real Madrid teammate in a bid to convince him to sign, although this has not been confirmed by the forward.

James Rodriguez’s future has also been the topic of widespread speculation in recent months due to his lack of game time at the Bernabeu.

Both Man United and Chelsea are said to be monitoring the Colombian, who looks certain to leave Real Madrid this transfer window.

Morata has been rather busy on social media this week, ahead of his proposed £60million-plus move to Old Trafford.

First he went on a bit of a following spree, keeping tabs on such people as Paul Pogba, David de Gea and Ander Herrera on Instagram.

Later he removed from both his Twitter and Instagram bio the fact that he is a Real Madrid player, which again got United fans very excited.
