Neymar inflicts more misery on Real by copying Messi’s goal celebrations

Date Posted,April 23, 2017

Neymar has inflicted more misery on Real Madrid by recreating Lionel Messi’s injury time celebration which clinched a dramatic El Clasico victory.

The Brazilian star may have suffered the heartache of missing the big derby win at the Bernabeu on Sunday night, but he was determined to savour the moment as he trolled their arch rivals sitting alongside Messi and Luis Suarez.

Messi stole the headlines once again as he netted his second of the game and his 500th goal for the club deep in stoppage time to help Barcelona secure a 3-2 win to go level on points with Real Madrid and keep the La Liga title race wide open.

The Argentine superstar took off his shirt and held it aloft in front of the Madrid fans to show his name and number to a large section of the Bernabeu.

Neymar was forced to miss the game through suspension, but was thrilled to see his team-mates secure all three points and showed his delight as he copied Mess’s celebrations by holding up his training top.

It followed a night of celebrations for the Barcelona star who shared his delight with his millions of followers on his Instagram account.

Neymar was forced to miss the big game after being given an additional two matches for sarcastically clapping the officials as he left the pitch, even though the club had appealed taking their case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Spain’s Court of Arbitration (TAD) were not able to deal with the case over the weekend but warned Barca would be sanctioned for selecting Neymar. As such, the winger was left at home.
