Premier League homegrown player rule means Arsenal will offload two stars THIS WEEK

Date Posted,July 5, 2017

Arsene Wenger is set to offload two players this week after reaching the limit on non-homegrown players.

Alexandre Lacazette took Arsenal’s quota to 17 foreign players which is the maximum allowed in any Premier League squad.

But Arsenal fans need not worry that will prevent them from making another signing with Monaco’s Thomas Lemar and Leicester winger Riyah Mahrez still in their sights.

Arsenal are set to allow misfit forward Lucas Perez return to Deportivo La Coruna after his frustrating stint at the Emirates.

It is also understood out-of-favour Mathieu Debuchy is also likely to miss Arsenal’s pre-season tour to sort out his future.

Debuchy has one year left on his current contract and may even be granted a free transfer.

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud is also a target for West Ham and Everton and there could yet be more comings and goings at the Emirates.
