Salah’s agent in London as Liverpool close in on move for Roma winger

Date Posted,June 15, 2017

Mohamed Salah could finalise a move to Liverpool in the next few days after his agent was spotted in London.

Salah is believed to have agreed personal terms with the Merseyside club but the two clubs are haggling over a fee for the talented winger.

His agent Ramy Abbas has fueled speculation that the move could be close to completion after he posted a picture of himself driving through the streets of London.

Jurgen Klopp has been quiet in the transfer market so far but reports suggest that he could be set to clinch his first big signing of the summer.

The Reds boss is keen to bring another pacy wideman into the squad and sees Salah as the ideal player.

The Egypt international has been one of the star performers for Roma and has unfinished business in the Premier League following his spell at Chelsea where he failed to produce his best form.

Liverpool have resurrected talks with the winger’s club, Roma, after having an initial bid of more than £26m turned down.

But on Wednesday, as negotiations intensified and were confirmed by their sporting director Monchi, Liverpool were warned that “Roma is not a supermarket” and the Italians will set the price.

Mirror Sport understands that the price is around £35.5m — and the Premier League side will be told it is a take-it-or-leave-it deal for the Egypt international.
