United fans are worrying Morata’s move from Real Madrid could fall through

Date Posted,June 15, 2017

It’s been a turbulent Friday for Manchester United fans.

First they learned that Cristiano Ronaldo may be looking to leave Real Madrid, according to reports in Portugal.

The forward is said to be disillusioned by recent tax fraud allegations, which he refutes, and wants to leave Spain, reported A Bola.

Red Devils supporters responded to this little nugget of news with excitement, suggesting a possible move for the forward could be on the cards.

Ronaldo spent six seasons at Old Trafford, where he won the Premier League three times, as well as his first Champions League trophy, and Man United fans have never really got over it. So you can understand their optimism.

However a second thought apparently overtook this initial positivity, and it was a slightly more worrying prospect.

United look very likely to bring Los Blancos forward Alvaro Morata to Old Trafford next week in a deal worth around £65million.

Sources in Spain have suggested Morata could undergo a medical in Manchester this weekend, with the deal potentially confirmed as early as Monday.

Red Devils supporters are worried that the recent Ronaldo news could put a spanner in the works however, if Real decide to close ranks until the situation is resolved.

Well, they won’t want to offload a forward if one is set to leave, will they? Exactly. And that is exactly what United fans are worrying about:
