Why former Arsenal star Serge Gnabry’s move to Bayern Munich could actually be really good news for Gunners

Date Posted,June 11, 2017

Arsenal supporters are keeping a very close eye on everything the club is up to as the transfer window looms ever nearer.

Gunners fans are hoping to sign the likes of Kylian Mbappe, or maybe Alexandre Lacazette, or maybe both (probably not both).

A number of tops clubs are keeping tabs on the forward, and according to reports in Chile, the 28-year-old has even agreed terms with Man City.

The team is Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, and the player is of course, former Gunners winger Serge Gnabry.

He rediscovered his form in his home nation, scoring 11 times for Bremen as they finished 8th in the Bundesliga.

And subsequently caught the eye of the German champions, who snapped Gnabry up on a three-year deal after he announced he would be leaving Bremen after one season.

Bayern are now unlikely to move for Sanchez, meaning Gnabry’s transfer to Bremen – which at the time frustrated some Arsenal fans, who couldn’t understand why the club let the prospect go – was all part of Arsene Wenger’s masterplan…
