Zaha was being tipped to be the next big superstar in English football following his £15million move to Manchester United back in January 2013, but he struggled to find his best form at Old Trafford.
The 24-year-old has found a new lease of life back at Crystal Palace and played a major role in his team’s recent revival scoring six goals and assisting nine.
Zaha was instrumental in helping his team record memorable wins over Chelsea and Arsenal in the last two games and his form has seen him strongly linked with a big money move to Tottenham.
Bolasie played alongside Zaha at Selhurst Park and feels he has the qualities to play at the very highest level and can be compared to the biggest names in the game – including a Brazilian star at Barcelona.
Bolasie, speaking to ESPN FC, said: “He can go as far as he wants. I said the other day that he’s got the same kind of ability as Neymar and people were raising their eyebrows.
“But now they’re starting to see it and nobody is saying anything anymore! I’m just kind of laughing to myself and I’m like ‘Well, I said that already’.
“It’s whether people take notice or not. He’s catching the eye now and doing well for himself. At the moment, he’s helping Palace a lot.”
